JOB SUMMARY:
Job Title Operator Job Function Production City Twin Falls State Idaho Job Summary Run equipment in either the Processing, Packaging or Warehouse. Must be able to work swing and graveyard shift. Position Responsibilities Assures qualifty of workmanship by continual observation of the assigned line and performing necessary adjustments to equipment. Assures conformance with food safety sanitation. Assures conformance with Health and Safety Regulations. Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers. Achieves maximum production and assures an adequate supply of product and processing additives by ongoing communications with Leads, Supervisors, and forklift operators. Assures that the proper product specifications are maintained while minimizing waste by continual monitoring of the quality attributes of the product. Maintain required production and QA records and assure that all paperwork is correct and turned into the lead, supervisor or shift manager at the end of the shift. Position Qualifications Education and/or Experience Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Equipment Specific Programs Manufacturing software.
