Edward Hines Jr., VA Hospital is a teaching hospital in the western suburbs of Chicago. Hines hospital is currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapists to join our Rehabilitation team of therapists who work with veterans. Therapists treat both inpatients and outpatients who are limited by illness, injury, psychosocial dysfunction and/or the aging process in order to maximize their independence, prevent disability and promote health.  Hines serves as a referral center for spinal cord injury treatment and blind rehabilitation and has the only freestanding residential care facility designed for long term care of spinal cord injured veterans.   Hines VA Hospital provides overnight housing in our new Fisher House to patients traveling great distances for diagnostic or treatment services.
