This position is located at: United States Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command, 308 Civil Affairs Brigade, 353 Civil Affairs Command, Homewood, Illinois.

 

About the Surrounding Area: Homewood is a village in Cook County, Illinois. It is a sister city to Homewood, Alabama. Homewood was rated in Forbes magazine as one of the three most "livable" suburbs in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.

 

NOTE: Duty for this position will be temporarily housed in Forest Park, Illinois due to facility renovations at the Homewood worksite until approximately November of 2014.

 

Description of the Working Environment: Work will be performed indoors or outdoors. While performed indoors, incumbent may be exposed to machines and equipment in operation. While working outdoors, incombant may be exposed to dust, high noise levels, wind, sand, and environments of fumes and smoke.

 

Physical Requirements: Work involves walking, standing, stooping, bending, carrying, agility, stamina, dexterity.
