About the Agency

ILLINOIS NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Illinois National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

Duty Location: SMO, Springfield, IL

Selecting Official: LTC Curt Ashby, 217-761-3845

Areas of Consideration: This position is limited to permanent technician on-board only with the IL ARNG in an available military position in a Officer grade which is compatible with this technician position.

Military Requirements: Selected Candidates will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

Compatible Military Assignments: Officer: 88A, 90A, 91A, 92A - Minimum rank requirement: CPT
