Position Description
The Import Operations Assistant position is an integral part of a successful sales team in our branch offices. This position ensures operational excellence by supporting both internal and external customers. The main focus of this position is to assist the sales team with managing customer information and ensuring accuracy of order information within our systems.
*This position is first shift, may include rotational Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide Shipment Information
- Process freight wire payments
- Enter Sourcing orders
- Route orders to appropriate departments
- Inventory Control and verification
- Sales
- Account payables
- Audit load information
- Complete customer requests
- Prepare documentation
- Track and Trace shipments
- Complete projects as needed
- Enter Trans Orders
- Setting shipping and delivery appts via e-mail and over the phone
- Updating Daily Customer Reports
Required Qualifications
- Effective communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Strong aptitude for numbers
- Bachelor degree or equivalent related work experience
