JOB SUMMARY:
Position Description:
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for setting up facility and monitoring company inventory, setting minimums and maximums for each inventory item, performing inventory audits to ensure compliance, solicit vendors for the replacement of inventory items, solicit quotes for engineered items, and coordinating disposition of surplus/obsolete material. Responsible for data collection and pricing of used equipment sales opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
INVENTORY
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained by tracking turn rates and conducting physical inventory audits.
- Work with field personnel on a routine basis to set and track min/max inventory levels
- Coordinate and monitor transfers of inventory items to AFEs
- Work on inventory requirements associated with other internal and external customers
- Participate in the maintenance and support of Lawson Item Master
- Assist Project Management and Operations by locating needed material throughout KM
- Assist Operations in identifying obsolete inventory
