MERIT PROMOTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Tour of Duty: Administrative hours, M-F.

Compressed/Flexible Schedules: Available

Telework: Available

Occasional Travel: 1 - 5 nights per month

Relocation Expenses: Are not authorized for this position. The Department of Veterans Affairs offers Permanent Change of Station (PCS) relocation services.

This recruitment is for one position with the Service Area Office Central (SAOC), Network 23 Contracting Office (NCO23). Duty location is Des Moines, IA.

Promotion potential to the next grade level is not automatic. Advancement is dependent on the need and resources of the organization, assignment of progressively more difficult duties and responsibilities, demonstrating satisfactory ability to perform at each successively higher grade level, meeting time-in-grade, and other legal requirements.
