As a Child and Youth Program Assistant you will work in one of the Child and Youth Services (CYS) facilities.  Duties vary slightly between centers and with the age range of the children.  May supervise children and/or youth ranging from 6 weeks through 18 years of age.  Maintain control of and account for whereabouts and safety of children and youth. You will use prepared curriculum/program materials and assists with developing a list of needed supplies and equipment.  Supervise children on field trips, outings and special events.  Promote and model safety and appropriate behavior. Rotates between different centers and programs, as required. May work in non center based, off site events to include Kids on Site.
