Oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies. Assists with pool operation.  Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.  Calmly provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.  Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.  Maintain fitness level (swimming skills, strength and endurance).  Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Follows established customer service policies and procedures.  Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.  Participates in regular in-service training sessions. Will use lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques, as well as CPR and established emergency procedures.  Follows routine verbal and written instructions.
