Salary/Grade Level Determination: Your salary and grade will be determined by the Nurse Professional Standards Board (NPSB).  The NPSB is a peer review process.  The NPSB will review your individual qualifications, education, professional training/internship(s) and professional experience to determine the most appropriate salary and grade based on your individual accomplishments.  The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.  If position is filled by reassignment, individual selected will retain grade and step of position currently held.

 

Area of Consideration:  First Area of Consideration (AOC) will be given to NFFE bargaining unit employees at Leavenworth VAMC. Second AOC will be given to EKHCS permanent employees.  Third AOC will be all other US Citizens. 

 

This announcement may be used to fill identical positions vacated within 90 days of any selections made from the original announcement.  More than 1 vacancy may be filled through this announcement should the need arise.
