About the Position:
The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program (SHARP) provides awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and follow up for sexual harassment/assault issues. Army promotes sensitive care, advocacy, treatment, reporting options for victims of sexual harassment/assault and accountability for those who commit these crimes. Positions within the Army Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program are the Army's "frontline forces" in the fight against sexual assault and require significant trust. It is Army's goal that employees in SHARP positions meet the highest standards of character, conduct, and personal integrity. In order to ensure that only employees with appropriate backgrounds serve in these important positions, the Department of Army has developed guidance which requires selectees for SHARP positions undergo enhanced background check
