TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: EXCEPTED - PERMANENT - ENLISTED

 

SELECTING SUPERVISOR AND DUTY LOCATION: SFC Woolums, USPFO, 502-607-1485, FRANKFORT, KY

 

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: AREA ONE - All qualified permanently employed excepted technicians of the Kentucky Army National Guard. AREA TWO - All qualified members of the Kentucky Army National Guard. Includes temporary and indefinite employees.

INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the USPFO of the Kentucky Army National Guard. Inspects, receives, sorts, counts, and classifies hazardous materials such as explosives, toxic chemicals, flammables, gas cylinders, radioactive material, and hazardous waste.

• You must maintain membership in the National Guard for continued employment
• You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
• Wear of the military uniform is a condition of employment.
• This position may require travel for training.
• Accceptance of a technician position may affect military bonus/incentives
