The Natural Resources Conservation Services provides leadership in a partnership effort to help conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources and environment.  http://www.nrcs.usda.gov . This position is open to NRCS employees only and those eligible under CTAP.

 

Relocation expenses will be offered.

Position is located in the Kentucky State Office in Lexington, Ketnucky, and serves as the State Resources Conservationist.  The incumbent  provides leadership for formulating, recommending, and implementing policy and procedures applicable to resource conservation planning activities and various program activities.  The incumbent shares in developing and implementing a comprehensive soil, water, and resource conservation program for the state.   The position is supervised by the State Conservationist.
