Position Summary:
As a Leader In Development, this individual will train in all aspects
of the Food & Beverage Division, to include: Banquets,
Culinary, Texas Spice Restaurant, Owner''s Box Sports Bar, In Room
Dining, Stewarding, among others. While rotating between various
roles and responsibilities, this individual will support the
efforts of the department with a particular emphasis on developing
this individual in their management and leadership skills. This is a
customer service position which requires a multitude of tasks while
consistently providing exceptional customer service to our guests and
clients in-house. This individual is responsible for administrative
duties for the Director of Food & Beverage and other members of
the division. Responsibilities wil include: room set-ups, service
standards, assisting captains per the function and department, among
other responsibilities which may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
This individual must be able to type 50 words per minute, have
functional knowledge of the hospitality industry, and be willing to
train in computer programs and systems relating to this division.
Being detail oriented and self-motivated are essential qualities, as
this individual must have the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Furthermore, the candidate must possess highly professional verbal
and written communication skills.

The Ideal Candidate for this Position

This is a one year program, and as such, this individual would be
completing training contracts, requirements within the hotel for the
Omni Leader In Development Program. This applicant must be willing to
relocate with Omni Hotels in 12 to 18 months. The candidate must
be flexible as this position requires a 50 hour work week. Candidate
must have a 4 year degree, preferably in Hospitality Management or a
related field. Previous administrative experience in the hospitality
field preferred.
