HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE

TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

 

LOCATION: 159TH FW, NAS-JRB, BELLE CHASSE, LA

 

This position is located in an Army National Guard (ARNG) or Air National Guard (ANG) organization/unit. Its purpose is to provide human resources services to technicians and Active Guard Reserves (AGRs). The position is remote from the Human Resource Office (HRO). The primary function of this position is to provide technical support on a wide range of technician and AGR human resources matters to line supervisors, managers, technicians, and AGR members at the base or unit organizational level and to coordinate such matters with the servicing HRO.

 

ACTIVE GUARD RESERVE (AGR) ANNOUNCEMENT: This position is also being announced as an AGR position under AGR Vacancy announcement number LA-1035840-A closing 11FEBRUARY2014. Personnel applying for this position as AGR should do so under that vacancy announcement.
