About the Position:

Becoming a Military Technician allows you to experience the best of two worlds by taking advantage of the opportunity to become a Citizen Soldier in the US Army Reserve Military Technician program. This enables you to receive full civil service benefits and military reserve benefits. Military Technicians are a vital link between the US Army Reserves and civil service and are one of the most important keys to combat readiness.

 

This position is located at: 81st Regional Support Command, Equipment Concentration Site 17, Fort Polk, Louisiana.

 

About the Surrounding Area: Fort Polk is nested in the piney woods of west central Louisiana, Vernon Parish offers a vast array of opportunities for nature lovers and sportsman alike. Hunters, fisherman, campers and hikers enjoy nature's bounty as they traverse the gently rolling hills through forests studied with freshwater lakes (Vernon Lake and Toledo Bend) and streams. Fort Polk houses the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC).
