The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) works to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement.
This position is located in Production and Development, Regional Supervisor, in Jefferson, LA.
The principal program objective is to regulate oil and gas operations in a manner to promote prudent and timely exploration, development, and production of OCS leases to assure the public the maximum available supply of oil and gas from the OCS.
Applications will be accepted from current BSEE and BOEM employees serving under a permanent competitive service appointment or current BSEE and BOEM employees serving under certain non-competitive special appointing authorities.
