The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) will shape an environment in which USDA officials have and use high quality financial and performance information to make and implement effective policy, management, stewardship, and program decisions. OCFO leads the way to fiscally sound, cost effective program delivery, supported by reliable financial management information and infrastructure.

The mission of the National Finance Center: To provide reliable, cost-effective, employee-centric systems and services to Federal organizations, thus allowing our customers to focus on serving this great Nation through their mission delivery.

This position is with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), National Financial Center (NFC), Government Employees Services Division (GESD), Web Applications Directorate (WAD), Payroll Web Systems Branch (PWSB).

This position is being concurrently announced under Merit Promotion procedures on OCFO-14-0387-MP. Disabled Veterans, candidates with 3 or more years of active duty military service, and candidates eligible for special hiring authorities can apply to the Merit Promotion announcement if they meet criteria for the above and include supporting documents.
