Located in the Non Nuclear Inspection Branch, Non-Nuclear Inspection & Nondestructive Test Division, Quality Assurance Office, the employee in this position will be responsible for the technical inspection of a wide variety of manufactured parts and assemblies. Parts are manufactured in the shops on the Shipyard or purchased from outside vendors and contractors. The applicant ensures products comply with contract requirements, specifications, and drawings. This position requires familiarity with a variety of inspection processes and techniques, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, instructions, and other related material.
