This position is located in the Production Resources Department, Mechanical Machinery Shop, at Portsmouth, Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, ME. 

This intermediate level position under the Workers Skills Progression Program (WSPP) is located at  PNS in Kittery, ME.  You will work as an Intermediate level employee and will receive two  years of training and experience and will then be temporarily promoted to the Journey level for one year.  After completion of additional work experience and training, your temporary promotion may be converted to permanent without further advertising. 

This job announcement will be used to establish and maintain a standing register that will be used to fill vacancies on an as needed basis at PNS, Kittery ME.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF REQUIRED TRAINING, CANDIDATES MAY BE PROMOTED TO THE WG-10 GRADE LEVEL WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION.
