This position is located in the Nuclear Planning and Estimating Office, Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD), Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.  This position is that of an Assistant Nuclear Project Engineer/Job Planning Leader (ANPE/JPL) assigned to one or more projects to assist the Nuclear Project Engineer (NPE) in carrying out his/her responsibility for the assigned availability.  Estimate direct labor and material costs, and prepares job summaries and task group instructions (TGIs), which authorize, define the work, in support of nuclear work that provides technical direction.  Reports to the Nuclear Planning & Estimating Office Branch Head while working with the NPE assigned to project.
