Job Description
Job Description: Position requires a high degree of maintenance knowledge with all plant equipment and has the ability to diagnose mechanical problems. Position may require a certification or license depending on job application.
Required Skills
Requires competent skill set having the ability to physically repair most plant equipment
Requires a minimum 5 years experience
Job Description: Position requires a high degree of maintenance knowledge with all plant equipment and has the ability to diagnose mechanical problems. Position may require a certification or license depending on job application.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects diagnoses and performs repair and maintenance of all plant equipment
Operates heavy equipment for maintenance purposes .Performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including repairs to crushing, screening, conveying and pumping equipment
Installs and repairs bearings, speed reducers, shafts, pulleys, idlers, motors, couplings, sheaves, v-belts, etc. Makes major repairs to crushers (primary and secondary), changing dies, bearings, brushing, mantles, bowl liners, etc.
Performs welding tasks as required to accomplish stated installation/repair jobs
Assists in training and direction of maintenance personnel, welders and helpers as instructed by the plant supervisor
