We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor with our Manufacturing Facility located in Deer Park, TX.

Essential Job Duties:

* Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
* Provide attention to detail, and dedication to work in order to ensure reliability of the work site as well as high quality product.
* Ensure that yourself and others are respected, supported and encouraged to grow and succeed in their job.
* Sets priorities on maintenance activities to assure continuing plant operations with minimum downtime.
* Monitors scheduled work and assures it is preformed according to job plan.
* Responsible housekeeping and safety in assigned areas.
* Maintains shops in equal or better condition from year to year.
* Coordinate the use of contract resources for your site.
* Cooperate with other company groups to met Oxy Chems goals.
* Manages backlog of work orders to maintain plant reliability.
* Cover for Maintenance/Operations coordinator.
* Track PM work orders and HES Work order backlog to complete in timely manner.
* Audit Maintenance Key Measures to continuously try and improve planning and scheduling of maintenance work.
* Ensure that department employees are focused on Process Safety and Risk Management objectives. Reinforce employee Chemical Commandment training and awareness on a routine basis. Incorporate Lessons Learned into toolbox topics.

* BS degree - 3-5 years min. plant experience or Non-degree - 5-10 years min. plant experience.
* Proven supervisory/administrative skills mandatory.
* Need to have working knowledge of maintenance planning and good knowledge of SAP.
