Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:
1. Focus of the role is to maintain all manufacturing equipment so that quality product can be produced safely and efficiently
2. Perform predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance
3. Maintain facility (compressors, humidifiers, HVAC, etc.)
4. Ensure the safe operation of all equipment
5. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
6. Complete work orders and update Maintenance Management Software accordingly
7. Responsible for accurate recording of spare parts used.
8. Fabrication of components / parts when required.
9. Follow Lockout / tagout and other safety procedures
10. Electrical & Pneumatic installations
11. Provide support to operating production team
12. Adhere to the Zero Tolerance policy and practice of refusing to tolerate or allow behavior defined by Federal-Mogul as unacceptable in terms of safety (e.g. "unsafe behavior" meaning behavior that could lead to occupational injury or illness to a plant employee, contractor or visitor).
13. Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities and Accountability - Comply with Environmental Health & Safety Rules and Regulations. Must be able to understand what hazards are associated with his/her position and how to minimize them. All accidents/injuries no matter how slight must be reported to any member of management, and/or Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator as soon as possible. Will be required to wear required personal protective.
