General Description of Work
* Understands and performs preventative maintenance on all equipment per schedule or as needed.
* Performs installation of new equipment and improvement of some existing equipment.
* Performs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding, PLC or any other maintenance related work as needed.
* Completes scheduled Itemized Implementation Plan (IIP).
* Supports in the development of the 5s and SDP process.
* Must be able to operate forklift, Boom lift, and other mobile equipment.
* Assist in production related tasks and training as needed.
* Assists in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Must be able to work 2nd shift as production needs require.
Requirements
General Requirements
* Has previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Has experience working with up to 480/three phase electrical energy.
* Has strong mechanical aptitude and has welding experience (MIG, TIG, and/or SMAW.
* Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
* Able to read and understand electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic schematics.
* Able to work overtime with little notice.
* Basic computer skills: be able to use CMMS, Excel, Word documents.
* Has excellent attendance record at previous employment.
* Has verifiable excellent Safety Record
