* Represent the pipeline in leadership teams in the area of Pipeline Operations and Maintenance
* Manage activities of pipeline maintenance and operations supervisors
* Define and achieve operations and maintenance strategies/goals
* Prepare and administer the operations and maintenance budget
* Implement operations and maintenance best practices
* Promote the generation and implementation of performance improvement ideas and cost effective solution to problems
* Optimize work processes or improve organization performance by effectively working with engineering and other support groups to implement programs/projects to increase reliability
* Ensures maintenance supervisors and technicians provide timely feedback to engineering and operations in troubleshooting, and handling routine repairs
* Provides clear communication of performance expectations and professional behaviors to the organization and maintains individual accountability and recognition for departmental successes
* Provide feedback, training and appropriate work assignments to improve individual performance and enhance skills of maintenance employees
