The successful candidate for this position will serve as Head of the Serials Acquisitions Unit, Collection Development and Acquisitions Section, Technical Services Division (TSD), Library Operations (LO), National Library of Medicine (NLM).

The National Library of Medicine (NLM), in Bethesda, Maryland, is a part of the National Institutes of Health, US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). NLM is the world's largest biomedical library with a collection of more than 20 million items. Since its founding in 1836, NLM has played a pivotal role in translating biomedical research into practice. NLM acquires, organizes, and preserves the world's scholarly biomedical literature, creates databases and search tools for molecular biology, genomic and toxicology information, and supports a nationwide network of medical libraries.
