About the Agency

At the ZP-II level, the incumbent will provide technical advice and guidance to Industry, Federal, State, and local government on standards, practices, and test procedures for weighing and measuring devices; conduct studies; analyze the technical merit and impact of legal metrology issues and develop U.S. positions; and develop and deliver training on weighing and measuring device technology, inspection, and practices.
At the ZP-III level, the incumbent will serve as expert advisor to Industry, Federal, State, and local government on standards, practices, and test procedures for weighing and measuring devices; conduct studies; analyze the technical merit and impact of legal metrology issues and develop U.S. positions; develop and deliver training in weighing and measuring device technology, inspection, and practices.
