THIS RECRUITMENT IS IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANNOUNCEMENT # NW21301-12-743099K1441222. THERE IS ONLY ONE VACANCY AND THE POSITION WILL BE FILLED AS EITHER AN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER GS-0819 OR A PHYSICAL SCIENTIST GS-1301.

 

This position is located in the Operations Department of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington, located at Indian Head, MD.  As a Physical Scientist, you will be responsible for providing operational support on environmental compliance and pollution prevention programs.   Duties are performed to support the NAVFAC Environmental Compliance Program (ECP) in developing and maintaining a course of action to establish compliance with all environmental regulations.
