Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE Must posses mechanical ability and able to support the development and repair of machines and processes used in manufacturing. Must adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures as well as government regulations. Requires understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess good communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills. Must possess competent computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and basic AutoCad. Must be able to read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Minimum of five years of experience and certification in an assigned area. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Mechanic Apprenticeship and Certification required. Years of experience and training maybe considered in place of a Certification.
