JOB SUMMARY:
Job Description
The Mechanic/Machinist provides mechanical and machined modifications and updates to enhance the performance of Flight Training Device(s) and other associated equipment utilized by FlightSafety International by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Flight Training Device Standards:
(Includes Compliance with regulations and guidelines and Quality Management Systems policies and procedures)
- Demonstrate a personal dedication to the FlightSafety International training philosophy in all interactions every day.
Simulator Bay/Classroom Equipment Activities:
- Repair malfunctioning parts, as directed; this includes bench check, reinstallation and operation verification of the part, ensuring all indications and functions are in accordance with applicable technical specifications.
- Design, fabricate, assemble and test electro-mechanical components used for Flight Training Devices and other training equipment.
