At the full potential responsibilities include serving as the tehnical expert for mechanical engineering and performing specialized mechanical and engineering work in connection with refurbishment of outdated facilities and obsolete equipment, operation and maintenance of equipment for powerplants, dams and auxiliary equipment and facilities.

You can progress from $44K to 68K in 4 years! Year 1 - $44,176 (GS-7), Year 2 - $54,028 (GS-9), Year 3 - $57,408 (GS-11), and Year 4 - $68,809 (GS-12).

Promotion to the Full Performance Level: The career ladder promotion potential of this position is the GS-12 level. If/when it is determined that a promotion is warranted, it may be made without further competition. Promotion up to and including the GS-12 level is neither guaranteed nor automatic, but based on supervisor initiation.
