Job Description :

Position Purpose:

Help plan, coordinate and accomplish activities which ensure timely and cost effective completion of departmental goals and objectives. In a proactive manner, with a positive attitude, provide assistance, encouragement and demonstrated flexibility to team members in all activities on a daily basis.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. In a team oriented work environment, a multi-skilled mechanic should be capable of performing advanced maintenance installations, repairs and installation of new of machinery and equipment, and mechanical systems including, but no limited to, Air Handlers, DI Water, Blend Water, Process Cooling Water and Exhaust System.
2. Comprehensive working knowledge of equipment and machinery and industrial safety requirements. (Inclusive of Pumps, Motors, Fans, Exhaust Systems, Compressors, hydraulics, electrical systems, instrumentation, etc.)
3. Ability to read and apply comprehensive hydraulic, mechanical and electrical schematics and technical service manuals for equipment and machinery.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of oils and lubrications, rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery and equipment.
5. Ability to independently diagnose and repair machinery and equipment.
6. Able to perform building maintenance activities such as ceiling tile replacement, flooring replacement, wall repair and other general building maintenance activities.
7. Candidate should also have experience working in clean rooms.
8. Willing to work adjusted shifts and overtime as needed

Additional Functions:

1. Requires knowledge of tools and equipment related to trade, as well as basic computer and shop math abilities.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.
