Come Join Our Team of Chaplains who provide a complete range of spiritual care ministries to veterans and their families.

 

This is a permanent full-time position for a Protestant Staff Chaplain at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Cloud, MN   

The Chaplain in this position will be assigned to the Community Living Center (CLC) and will serve as the Hospice/Palliative Care Chaplain. 

 

The chaplain provides a complete religious ministry to Veteran patients.  This includes assessing religious, spiritual, moral and ethical problems of patients, developing a plan of spiritual and pastoral care in conjunction with an interdisciplinary treatment team, carrying out a variety of interventions, and documenting care in medical records. 

 

The medical center may appoint an individual to this job at grade GS-12, or at grade GS-11 with promotion potential to GS-12. If appointed at GS-11, the candidate will perform duties under supervision in a developmental capacity and may be promoted without competition to GS-12 upon meeting all administrative requirements and demonstrating proficiency. Promotion to GS-12 is not guaranteed.

• The salary range for GS-11 is $57,982 to $75,376
• The salary range for GS-12 is $69,497 to $90,344
