We are also recruiting for the Peer Specialist position(s) in conjunction with this announcement.  We will be selecting a total of 3 highly qualified applicants from the combination of both announcements.  The Peer Support Apprentice is a Time Limited appointment being as such the applicant will have to sign a Statement of Understanding that they will get their Peer Specialist Certification in a mutually agreed upon time frame set forth by the applicant and Behavioral Health Service.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces
  • Currently recovering from, or have recovered from a mental health condition
