About the Position: The Harry S Truman Dam and Reservoir is situated 1 1/2 miles northwest of Warsaw, Missouri within the Osage River Basin of west-central Missouri, approximately 100 miles southeast of Kansas City. The 55,000 acre lake and more than 100,000 acres of surrounding land are jointly managed by the Corps of Engineers and the Missouri Department of Conservation. Recreational development is extensive. Twenty parks and access points, managed by or leased from the US Army Corps of Engineers, are conveniently located around the reservoir. Park areas at Truman Reservoir offer a wide variety of recreational facilities including boat launching ramps, campgrounds, full service marinas, picnic areas, sand swimming beaches, and a regional visitor center.

Position(s) will be filled under the Department of the Army Pathways Intern Program.
The Department of the Army Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students currently enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work and get paid while exploring federal careers through a job with the Department of Army.
The Department of the Army Pathways Interns may be converted to a permanent position within 120 days of successful completion of the program.
