LOCATION:  J-1/State Surgeon Office, Fort Harrison, Montana

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment and grade in the Montana Army National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Montana Army National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Montana Army National Guard

AREA OF CONSIDERATION - AREA I APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRST
Area I All dual status permanent excepted technicians in the Montana Army National Guard.
Area II All members of the Montana Army National Guard or those eligible for membership.

 

Open Nationwide to current military Army Officers (Active Duty, National Guard, or Army Reserve), eligible for immediate accession into the Montana Army National Guard.

 

Military Grades:  Officer  Maximum Grade: LTC/O-5

Compatible Military Assignments:  66

 

 

COMPATIBLE REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be a member of the Montana Army National Guard and in a compatible military grade prior to the effective date of placement. Selectee must be assigned to a compatible military specialty (MOS) prior to or within one year of placement.
