LOCATION:   AASF, Helena, Montana

Selecting Official:  CSM Duane A. Wock

Recruitment/Relocation/Retention Bonus and PCS Funds not authorized.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment and grade in the Montana Army National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Montana Army National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Montana Army National Guard

POSITION ADVERTISED: PERMANENT STATUS 

Unit of Military Assignment: MTARNG AVN BN or MTARNG JFHQ DSCAVN

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: AREA I APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRST

Area I All dual status permanent excepted technicians in the Montana ARMY National Guard.

Area II All members of the Montana ARMY National Guard or those eligible for membership.

AREA I EMPLOYEES- TEMPORARY PROMOTION/REASSIGNMENT/CHANGE TO LOWER GRADE-EMPLOYEE WILL BE RETURNED TO PERMANENT POSITION UPON TERMINATION OF TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT.

Compatible Military Specialties:  15, 92

COMPATIBLE REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be a member of the Montana Army National Guard and in a compatible military grade prior to the effective date of placement. Selectee must be assigned to a compatible military specialty (MOS/AFSC) prior to or within one year of placement.
