The Northern Rockies Servicing Human Resources Office (NR SHRO) is currently seeking applicants to fill numerous temporary Forestry Technician (IPM) positions at Glacier National Park. Appointments are limited to 1039 hours in a twelve month period. Positions are expected to be filled approximately late April through mid-September, 2014. Work schedule will be 40 hours per week, usually 4-10 hour work days per week. There is no promotion potential; positions will be filled at either the GS-4, GS-5, or GS-6 grade levels only. Appointments may be terminated at any time and can be extended if workload and funding allow. Positions offer rehire eligibility for subsequent appointments, provided the employee has not exceeded 1039 hours of work in a twelve month period and has achieved an acceptable level of performance.

AREA/HOUSING INFORMATION:
Duty Station Location is West Glacier: West Glacier has seasonal food and gas services. All services are available in Columbia Falls (17 miles), Kalispell (32 miles) or Whitefish (28 miles).
Government housing may be available. Housing is generally shared, either in single dwellings or dormitory style. Deductions for government quarters are made from the employee's paycheck. Seasonal employees occupying government housing are not permitted to have pets.
