JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:
Performs work under the very general supervision of the Military Branch Chief, receiving assignments in terms of program responsibilities. 

This is a Career Program position (CP 18)

This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled under any of the following titles and occupational series, depending on the qualifications of the applicant and needs of the agency:

General Engineer, GS-0801
Civil Engineer, GS-0810
Mechanical Engineer, GS-0830
Electrical Engineer, GS-0850
Landscape Architect, GS-0807
Architect, GS-0808
Physical Scientist, GS-1301

Current Army Civilian Employee - I am a current Army employee with competitive status (includes Army employees serving on a career or career-conditional appointment).

Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is 20 percent

Must file a Financial Disclosure Statement OGE 450.

Personnel security investigation required.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized
