Job Duties: • Automating the load, conversion, transformation, and exception handling required for data migration from legacy applications and multiple external interfaces into a new, leading edge medical management enterprise system • Designing, developing, implementing, and testing new Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) programs using Microsoft .Net 4.0, SQL Server 2008/2008R2, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Analyzing source data and creating a mapping and transformation plan to migrate data • Developing and deploying efficient and optimized SSIS packages to complete data mapping and migration • Designing and developing reusable solution to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability • Interfacing with existing web service library to retrieve or submit data • Interacting with the business analysts and development team to establish file formats, required data elements, setup transmission, and delivery of files • Creating mapping documentation, detailing fields and transformations from source and target systems • Creating design standards and documentation for reference by developers and customers • Working with the architecture team to implement best practices and design patterns • Meeting aggressive project deadlines
