Our Specialty Patient Services group provides compliance and adherence programs, as well as reimbursement hotlines, patient assistance and support programs and the managed distribution of pharmaceutical products. Our US Oncology operations unite one of the nation's largest health-care services network devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research, and is a pioneer in community-based cancer care. Under general supervision supports the oversight of network practice research program operations. Provides guidance on research protocols, federal regulations and general practice policies. Analyzes site performance and recommends areas to improve performance and profitability. Relies on education, guidelines, policies, and legal requirements to perform responsibilities. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Supports the research needs of US Oncology Research Sites by responding to routine questions/inquiries regarding good clinical practices, protocols, and standard operating practices (SOP). Obtains assistance to resolve complex inquiries.
Contacts site representatives monthly to offer support, education and/or information
Reviews and is current on research project timelines and deliverables within assigned region. Works with management to understand key objectives.
Gathers data from the practice to review and analyze practice financial and operational performance. Creates reports and metrics to show key performance areas within the practices. Recommends to Research Network Operation Managers on areas to improve efficiencies and build profitability.
Collaborates with the central office departments to develop tools, reports, and processes to support network practices operations and efficiencies in the clinical trial management
Coordinates the logistics and materials for meetings, special projects and site training.
one (1) year of clinical research experience.
Oncology experience preferred. Some project coordination and customer service related work experience preferred. Proficiency with computer systems and Micro-Soft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel) required.
