JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Temporary position that is not to exceed 14 months from time of hire.

 

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

A temporary limited service technician:

[1] Must be a military member of the National Guard.

[2] Must meet qualification standards established for the position.

[3] Does not have protection of reduction-in-force procedures and may be terminated at any time upon notice writing from the personnel office.

[4] Does not aquire a permanent status under temporary limited appointment or eligibility to be non-competitively converted to a permanent appointment.

[5] Does not serve a trial period. 

 

This position is located in the Human Resources Office.  The primary purpose of the position is to provide limited technical assistance to Human Resources Specialists within the office and to managers, supervisors, and technicians of the serviced organization for a wide range of human resources matters.  Performs work in two or more of the following human resource specialties.  May accomplish work through the use of an automated system.
