JOB SUMMARY:
Provides customers with courteous customer service in person or over the phone; strives to retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to serve customers' needs. Enhances and supports overall selling of bank products through professional and courteous interaction with both customers and employees. Enters and maintains customer information in computer system. Opens and closes CDs, IRAs, checking and savings accounts, and safe deposit boxes. Collects required information from new and existing customers to comply with banking regulations and policies. Maintains knowledge of changes to banking regulations, bank policies and bank procedures. Responds effectively to customers requesting to close their accounts, determining the reason and offering possible alternatives. Creates debit cards, performs maintenance, "hot cards" debit cards, resets pin numbers.
