Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

The Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) are the Armys Center of Lethality, and provide more than 90 percent of the Armys lethality to Soldiers. ARDECs mission includes: improving already fielded items, developing new items, maintaining a strong armament technology base in government, industry and academia and provide technical support to Soldiers in the field.

  

Picatinny's location is ideal for a variety of leisure activities, including summer and winter sports. Nearby New York City offers museums, the Broadway theater district and other famous entertainment venues. Atlantic City is within driving distance and offers a wide spectrum of entertainment activities. Professional sports fans will find footballs Giants and Jets, baseballs Mets and Yankees, basketballs Knicks.
