This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the New Jersey Army National Guard

APPLICANTS ABOVE THE MAXIMUM RANK:

Applicants with an enlisted rank that exceeds the maximum advertised rank for the position may be considered.   Applicant must provide a statement with their resume/application which indicates their willingness to accept a reduction in military rank.   If selected, reduction in military rank is required to prevent grade inversion.   Air/Army Officers and Army Warrant Officers may be allowed to reduce their Officer/Warrant Officer rank to Enlisted only.   Military recruiters can provide Air/Army Officers and Army Warrant Officers with specifics applicable to the applicant.

 

MILITARY POSITION:  Any military unit in the New Jersey Army National Guard

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS:  Employment in this position requires concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

CMF/MOS 12, 13, 14, 19, 25, 88, 91, 92 and 94

 

NOTE:  THE INDIVIDUAL SELECTED HAS ONE YEAR TO OBTAIN ADVERTISED MOS

 

LEVEL OF CLEARANCE/INVESTIGATION:  No requirement
