Would you like to have a job that can ensure national security by providing support to the nation's nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship activities? If so, then the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), NNSA Small Sites, has the perfect employment opportunity for an Environmental Engineer. In the position, you play an important role in accomplishing the national security mission of the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. You will utilize your expertise to serve as the agency site National Environmental Policy Act Compliance Officer

SPECIAL NOTE:

Relocation expenses will be paid.

Conditions of Employment:

- Subject to Random Drug Testing

- Must pass a pre-employment drug test

- Favorable suitability determination

- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q Security Clearance

Other Requirements:

- Must be U.S. Citizen

- Verification of your identity and employment eligibility under the provisions of Employment Verification (E-Verify)

- Compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) governing personal identity, which will require that you provide two forms of identification

- Generally, male applicants must be registered with the Selective Service

- A one-year probationary period may be required

- This position is covered by the Technical Qualification Program (TQP)

- Financial disclosure is required at the GS-14 level

- The position requires travel outside of the duty station on a regular basis approximately 25% of time.

- Exposure to hazardous chemicals
