US Army Veterinary Services operates as a subsidiary of Public Health Command. Their mission is to provide military veterinary services in support of United States Army Medical Command and Department of Defense missions. The civilian function of the Veterinary Services is a supplemental mission which exists to assist soldiers and their families in the field of animal health and care.

This is a FLEX/Intermittent (a flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or an as needed basis.) position at Fort Drum Veterinary Treatment Facilities. The Fort Drum VTF is a rapidly expanding clinic that focuses on wellness care and minor sickcall. Salary based on actual number of hours worked.
