The Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) is currently accepting applications under examining authority of 10 U.S.C., Section 2164. The Monitor performs simple and repetitive lunchroom and recess, and/or bus monitoring duties. The monitor identifies and reports known or suspected problems, issues, or concerns to the appropriate staff, faculty member, or other official (e.g., military police) in accordance with established policies and procedures. The work may be performed in a cafeteria, a designated lunch site, outdoor or indoor recess areas, as a bus monitor, or any combination of these or similar areas.
The Monitor typically works only when school is in session. The monitor typically works part-time seasonal and/or intermittent. The salary will be prorated based on the acutal hours worked.
