This is a part time, permanent position for a Roman Catholic Chaplain at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, NC. The work schedule is 20 hours per week. The position may be filled at either grade GS-12, or at grade GS-11 as a developmental position. If filled at GS-11, the selected individual may be promoted to the target grade, GS-12, upon meeting all administrative requirements and demonstrating proficiency. Promotion to the target grade is not guaranteed.
The salary is paid for the hours worked as follows: Grade GS-11 $28.34 per hour to $36.84 per hour; Grade GS-12 $33.97 per hour to $44.16 per hour.
All applicants must have ecclesiastical endorsement dated within the past year from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Service USA in Washington DC.
